Filling the Gap in Slovakia's Professional Golf Pathway
While Slovakia’s professional golf ecosystem is still developing, golfers representing Slovakia, including Rory Sabbatini and Tadeáš Teťák, have demonstrated that Slovak players can compete at the highest level.
Tetak’s journey shows how the European pathway works:
Pro Golf Tour top 5 → Hotel Planner Tour card → DP World Tour card through Q-School → competing at the highest level in 2025.
For more Slovak players to follow that path, they need opportunities to compete at home on these crucial development circuits.

Slovakia's first-ever Pro Golf Tour event, an official step on the road to the DP World Tour.
Pro Golf Tour is an internationally sanctioned development tour operating across Europe.
It serves as the official feeder to the Hotel Planner Tour and ultimately the DP World Tour.
This is the exact pathway Tadeáš Teťák used to advance his career, and it's the first time this tour comes to Slovakia.

A Proven Pathway to the Top
Rory Sabbatini put Slovakia on the map in professional golf.
Tadeas Tetak is proving it wasn't a one-time success.
Starting on Pro Golf Tour, Tetak finished top 5 on the money list, earned his Hotel Planner Tour card, and then won his DP World Tour card through Q-School. He competed at the highest level of European golf in 2025.
Pro Golf Tour has launched the careers of some of Europe's biggest names. Martin Kaymer won the 2006 Order of Merit on Pro Golf Tour before going on to win major championships and compete in the Ryder Cup. Joost Luiten, Max Kieffer, and Sami Välimäki all used Pro Golf Tour as their springboard to successful European Tour careers.
The pathway works. Top 5 finishers on the Pro Golf Tour Order of Merit earn their Challenge Tour card for the following season. It's one of only four official satellite tours recognized by the DP World Tour.
By bringing Pro Golf Tour to Slovakia for the first time, we're connecting our players to this established European pathway that has produced champions.
